Our experienced crew will identify the best route on the day of your cruise in consultation with you and with regard to prevailing weather conditions. If you have a particular location or route in mind, please let us know beforehand.
We encourage guests to allow plenty of time and arrive at the wharf 15 – 30 mins prior to your scheduled departure. Charter boats are required to book wharf slots and have strict timeframes, if you are late you might literally ‘miss the boat’.
Our vessels can pick-up and drop-off at a range of locations throughout the Harbour. If you let us know the area that is most convenient for you, we can identify the best wharf in the area. Popular choices include King Street Wharf (Darling Harbour), Rose Bay, Woolloomooloo, Balmain, Drummoyne and Woolwich. Some vessels can also pick-up from Manly, however surcharges may apply.
All our vessels have covered areas to provide weather protection in the event of inclement weather. A passing shower is pretty typical weather for Sydney summer and in our experience, a little rain never dampens spirits. However, if the weather is deemed to be unsafe, then we can offer you the opportunity to postpone to another date or refund your booking.
Many vessels permit BYO food and beverages. If this is your preference, let us know when you enquire and we’ll direct you to appropriate vessels.
Most vessels have designated areas for smoking. We request that guests be vigilant with cigarettes, as they are the main cause of damage to vessels.
Provided that we don’t have a subsequent booking, we’d be happy to extend your cruise on the day, with the agreement of the crew on board the vessel.
Shoe policies vary from boat to boat. In general, stiletto heels and black-soled shoes are generally not appropriate. We will let you know the specific shoe policy of any vessel you are interested in.
